SUPPORT SERVICES FOR FAMILY CAREGIVERS If you are caring for an adult age 60 or over, even if he or she is not living with you, then you qualify for these services.   Family Caregiving Counseling Counseling is provided by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is completely confidential. Support Groups for Caregivers Elderday Center Adult Daycare 8 S. Lincoln St. (Bethany Ministry Center, end of parking lot) Batavia, IL The Elderday Center of Batavia hosts two monthly support groups to provide caregivers of older adults an opportunity to meet with others who face the same stressors they do.  Our focus is on building mutual support.  During the meeting, we share insights, strategies, and needs.  The group is facilitated by Elderday social worker, Kathy Hanlon, LCSW. We may be able to provide care for your older adult during this meeting if you call 2 days in advance to reserve a spot: 630-761-9750.  The available meeting time is as follows: 3rd Thursday of the month, from 5:30 to 7PM SPECIAL GROUP FOR SPOUSES WHO ARE CAREGIVERS: 2nd Thursday of the month, from 1:30 to 3PM.
